Madeline Artenberg Triumphs in the Contrasting Fields of IT and Creative Writing

NEW YORK, NY, December 15, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Madeline Artenberg, Senior Technical Writer and Infrastructure Analyst for Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in web development and creative writing.
Thriving in the two contrasting fields of information technology and humanities, Madeline Artenberg is a published poet and also a Technical Writer / Webmaster for Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., a financial services company. In the latter capacity, she is responsible for developing websites, documenting systems, auditing, and performing gap analyses. As a writer, Ms. Artenberg draws on her experiences of a difficult childhood to compose poems that make a difference in the lives of others. Published frequently over the last 17 years, Rogue Scholars Press published a collection of her original poetry in 2006, entitled "Awakened" (including poems by Iris N. Schwartz).
Prior to joining Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., Ms. Artenberg worked in media buying and planning for 16 years. She fulfilled Master's courses in Computer Documentation at Polytechnic Institute of New York. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages in 1967 from Brooklyn College. A member of The International Women's Writing Guild, Ms. Artenberg has been honored with numerous poetry awards and was a semi-finalist in the 2005 contest of Margie, the American Journal of Poetry.
