Vava Buitenkant celebrates 30 years in the creative field
NEW YORK CITY, August 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vava Buitenkant, Creative Director at Buitenkant Advertising & Design, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and Excellence in Advertising & Graphic/ Package Design.
Buitenkant Advertising & Design is an award winning creative agency that specializes in promoting nonprofit organizations, and communicating public service messages.
As Creative Director, Vava collaborates closely with both new and well established organizations, and helps them grow to the next level. After assessing a client's specific needs, she creates a custom fit company identity, establishes a strong mission oriented image, and strengthens branding through a solid network of advertising and promotional media. Targeted marketing campaigns include Ads, Logos, Brochures, Web Sites, Signage, Promo Objects, Packaging, Invitations, POP Displays.
Ms. Buitenkant established the agency in 1990 after a decade of experience as an Advertising Art Director at Lord, Geller, Federico, Einstein and Rosenfeld, Sirowitz, Humphrey & Strauss. She'd received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University in 1979.
Vava was inspired to enter the creative field at an early age by her mother, Irene, an architect who had studied with Frank Lloyd Wright. In the 1960's, when Irene became an activist for peace, human rights & environmental protection, she encouraged her daughter to use her talents to promote these causes.
A Member of AIGA and NAPW, Ms. Buitenkant's work has been honored by publication in The Creativity Awards Annual, Graphic Design USA Magazine, and The Big Book of Design Ideas Volume 3, as well as being glowingly reviewed in The Wall Street Journal and Art Direction Magazine.
