Connected is today announcing the close of $500k in seed funding led by Trinity Ventures, with participation from 500 Startups, Ignition Partners, Christopher Michel, Michael Hoydich, and Mark Gray.

Connected plans to use the funding to expand its contact management solution for small businesses as well as focus on user growth. The core of Connected's offering is a real-time always up-to-date address book of contacts and conversations from across email, social networks, and calendar. By integrating with LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google Calendar, Gmail, Outlook and more, Connected removes the need for any manual data entry in managing your contacts.

With this data, Connected provides an elegant web-based solution to manage relationships with notes and tags, as well as reminders for birthdays, job changes, or to stay in touch.
